Film Works, Music Videos

Geoff Towner - "Old Prick Losing His Marbles", 2020

Written, Directed and Edited by Miguel Felipe Valenzuela, this clip was also his first attempt at filming with high end ARRI camera gear.

Steve Smyth - "In a Place", 2012

With over 40K views on Youtube, this clip has a timeless quality to it. Steve Smythe's vocals are somehow both haunting and uplifting. The clip was directed and edited by Valenzuela using speed ramps to sync the vocals. Shot by Justin Harvey on a Canon 5D camera using a makeshift bodypod rig, a small torch for lighting and a phone for playback, the clip epitomizes the low budget ethos of the era.

Nick and Liesl - "Feather", 2012

This clip was also written, directed and edited/graded by Valenzuela using DaVinci Resolve. Also shot by Justin Harvey on a Canon 5D, the clip makes full use of an abandoned house location to explore the lyrics in a poetic way.

Aine Tyrell - "Rising of the Moon", 2017

Written, Directed by Enda Murray, this clip was shot by Miguel on a Blackmagic URSA Mini using Rokinon EF primes, as well as a Panasonic GH4 on a Ronin Gimbal.

The Debt Collective - "Didn't Mean To", 2010

Directed by Paul Brenner, this clip was shot by Johhny Ma on a Red One, and edited and graded by Miguel using Final Cut Pro 7 and Da Vinci Resolve.
