"Non-Earth Landscapes", 2023
Non-Earth Landscapes is a series of digital works exploring the forms, shapes, physics, colour and formation of physical landscapes with three-dimensional software. The separation between the sign and the signified is an essential part of the creation of meaning, they are inseparable in linguistics, yet how intertwined is the signifier to the image when art is so often dependent on symbolism and metaphor? These works are digital studies for tangible works on paper, board and canvas and large scale print. They explore the multi-faceted, rough and delicate creation of meaning prevalent in all modes of communication.
